Principle&Procedure
TheEpiQuik™TissueMethylatedDNAImmunopricipitation(MeDIP)KitcontainsallreagentsrequiredforcarryingoutasuccessfulmethylatedDNAimmunoprecipitationdirectlyfrommammaliantissues.Particularly,thiskitincludesaChIP-grade5-methylcytosineantibodyandanegativecontrolnormalmouseIgG.DNAinthecellsisextracted,sheared,andaddedintothemicrowellimmobilizedwiththeantibody.DNAisreleasedfromtheantibody-DNAcomplex,andpurifiedthroughthespecificallydesignedFast-SpinColumn.ElutedDNAcanbeusedforvariousdown-streamapplications.
