Principle&Procedure
TheEpiQuik™QuantitativePCRFastKitprovidesamastermixformatwhichcontainsahotstartDNApolymerase,dNTPs,anMS-PCRenhancer,anoptimizedbuffer,andanintercalatinggreendye.Thismastermixallowsforaconvenientandeasyreactionsetup.TheuniquehotstartDNApolymeraseisprovidedinaninactivestateatambienttemperatureandisreactivatedbyseveralminutelongincubationsat95°C,whichcaneasilybeintegratedintoexistingthermalcyclingsteps.ThehotstartDNApolymeraseincombinationwiththeoptimizedbufferensuresthequantitativePCRspecificityandsensitivity.ThegreendyeallowsforDNAdetectionandanalysiswithoutusingasequence-specificprobe.
